Clients are able to access services at The Elms SARC, without involving Police or other agencies. However, clients also have the option to access the centre via the Police and other professionals.

Our Service
The Elms, Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) offers a range of support services to anyone aged 13 or over, living within the Cambridgeshire area who has experienced sexual abuse or sexual violence, either recently or in the past.
Clients can refer themselves without having to involve the Police, it is not necessary for a report to have been made in order to access our services. We can also, with a client's permission, take initial referrals from other professionals such as, but not limited to GP's, A&E Depts. and Sexual Health Clinics.
We also work alongside Cambridgeshire Police to support any clients who have chosen to report to the Police.

Services for 12s and under
Services for children aged 12 and under are provided by specially trained paediatricians during paediatric clinic hours. To refer a child to the SARC, please follow your organisational Safeguarding Policy and the appropriate Referral Pathway. Contact us for more details.
Open Days
The Elms SARC holds monthly Open Days, allowing professionals from all agencies to attend the SARC. Attendees will receive a tour following the journey of our clients, understand the roles of the team throughout the process, and network with other professionals. We welcome any feedback about our service, and strive to constantly improve the service we provide to clients, and build positive relationships with agencies and services throughout Cambridgeshire. If you have feedback about how we can do this please let us know through the Contact Form, by email or in writing.
Despite our best efforts, we acknowledge that there may be times when clients or their carers may not feel completely happy with the service they have received. We encourage anyone attending to discuss these concerns whilst they are at the SARC to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
